Adrian Elwell, a hair stylist and colorist who previously worked at Penthouse 1606, has opened the brand-new Ae Salon in San Francisco’s Union Square. He brings more than 20 years of practical experience in cutting and coloring to every style he designs.
Adrian is an expert in gray coverage, creative color placement, corrective color, balayage, and multi-tonal, natural-looking highlights and holds seven Vidal Sassoon diplomas in precision cut and color techniques.

About Ae Salon
commenced in 2004. At the Avanti Salon on Newbury Street, Adrian completed a rigorous and demanding precision cutting apprenticeship before starting to cut hair in Boston in 1986. In 2002, Adrienne graduated from the Vidal Sassoon Advanced Academy in San Francisco with a diploma in classic cutting.
She later returned for two additional Creative Cutting Diplomas in 2006 and 2007. At the Vidal Sassoon Advanced Academy in Toronto, Adrienne received her first creative color training in 1990, the same year she started coloring. He finished a thorough chemical course at the Vidal Sassoon Advanced Academy in Santa Monica in 2002, and in 2007 he obtained his second Creative Color Diploma there.
