About J.P. Kempt Barber & Social
J.P. Kempt was founded in 2013 and is named for Jasper Paul, the mentor of Master Barber Shorty Maniace, who used to tell Shorty, “Kid, they’re in the business to keep people well-kempt.” Some of the greatest workers in the bay region work at the store.
